Arevalo de la Sierra
Árevalo is located in a valley of Alba’s Mountain Chain. It confines its term by the North with Torrearévalo, and by the East with Castellanos de la Sierra, by the South with San Gregorio, and by the West with Gallinero.
Its stone houses return to recover the strength of other times. Celt Iberian times whose symbols you can discover if you look attentively in some stone lintels. Hard times but full of life, of migrating people, of harvest and carts, of school, of small theatres, and of long nights to the fireside. The hermitage of “Saint Christ of the Remedies”, dates of the XVIII century and if you like the art, you do not have to miss the image of the Christ and the Romanesque baptismal sink that was rescued from the church and it was restored not long time ago.
